I have a 89 CRX still dont know if its a HF or a DX. I found an SI tranny, The guy is going to call me for a price. Im going to ask if he has the engine too. What would be the most ideal engine tranny setup? Whats up with the ZC engine I was told about.

 

if you have the hf engine (63hp) you will not have any ideal setup (get the si engine)...an si tranny will help slightly as it has shorter gears where the hf has long gears for best mpg at the expense of acceleration

dx i'm not sure you will get much benefit as gearing is similar to the si...but the si engine will give you a little more power due to mpfi
