sohc camshaft interchangeability..

is there any chance of getting a d16a6 cam to fit a d16y7 head?

i'd say it should fit...but i've never done it...i'm not sure if it will make a difference in power gains

well this is a y7 with Si intake/dizzy/ecu/manifold and im tired of having it peak around 5500... the torque is great with this motor for a D-series but id like it to peak past 6

totally different head and cam design. not going to fit. not compatible
