Hey everyone...I had a quick question... I had a customer come to me today saying that he went to and engine dealer to order a B16 and the guy told him he had only 1 left in stock...now the engine,trans,ecu from this guy usually runs $1350 without a dizzy...but my customer was explaining to me that the guy told him he had only one left and had to charge him 1500
(with no dizzy) because it had a jazmin or jasmine header and intake manifold(i don't know how to spell it but thats how it sounded). Well my customer just said OK and left and was asking me about it..but I have no clue what a Jasmin header and manifold are...so I am asking you guys. I am guessing maybe in Japan they sold some crx's with this feature and it is high performance parts...but i am not sure??? Anyone heard of it and can explain it to me a lil or send me a link??? Thanks

 

as long as it works without leaking I dont see why it would really matter.
If you have any problems it shouldn't be hard to find a stock one off of any B-series or get a different aftermarket one.

This isn't a brand of muffler but rather a certification of compliance which Japanese aftermarket exhausts must meet to pass annual emission inspection.

 

yeah I figured out it was jasma... i went to the website and part of it translated and from what i understood it appeared that all that means is that it will pass a japanese emiission test...sorta like usdot... so he will have nothing to gain from buying this huh? It isnt like it is a performance header or a 4-2-1 design right? The store guy was just prolly tryna get some extra money off the guy by acting like it has a performance product. So that I have this right...the Jasma Header isn't a performance product it is a stock header and really isn't worth an extra $150 right? thanks
