Dx head on Hf block?
this piece was done @ www.hondaswap.com
why would the gas prices affect you dropping in a b16? i get the same if not better gas milage in my 91 hb si than my old 88 dx hatch with a stock motor. just something to think about.

They overlook one major thing is that article...the HF pistons only have Eight valves, meaning that the pistons only have two reliefs per piston. I had the chance to do this sort of swap and it won't work, you need to have four relifs per piston to throw a 16 valve head on the block. :af:

on a side note: I have heard (only speculation) the the piston on the HF motor does not interfere with the valves if using a 16 valve head. But I'm not one to play with such fire. I'd rather have the reliefs there just in case ya know?

I still don't believe an HF/16v hybrid will come anywhere close to a 14 second 1/4 though.
