ZC motor question

ok my brother told me he just baught a ZC motor.. when we went to pick it up on the block it said D16y....... some thing, and it dohc. but a wile ago i saw a ZC motor that said ZC on the block what is that motor ? A ZC or just a DOHC D16?

probably a d16a1, i think theres only 1 dohc d-series motor and that it, and it wont fit so dont buy it unless your vehicle is pre-88

It's probably either an 88-89 Integra D16A1 or a european market D16A8/9.

Figure out the exact block stamp and we can tell you more.

It's definitely not a "ZC".

I think Kai's correct in his above statement.
