ok in the next week or 2 my car is going under the knife.my 88 dx hb is going to have a b16 sir motor droped in her.when something breaks on her what parts will fit.in every single catalog ive looked through doesnt say motor type, only the year/make for wich these replacement parts are four.so just in general if something breaks what other motor has compatable parts?

 

92-93 Integra GS-R, everything except for the injectors, distributor, crank, and rods.
del Sol VTEC, all models, except for injectors, distributor, and other electricals on OBD-2 versions.
90-91 Integra RS/LS/GS for fuel injectors, and the distributor can be modified to work.

Many other B-series parts will work.

yeah, that too. Same restrictions as 96+ del Sol VTEC parts.

 

i was told that this motor was originally in a 94 1.6 sol then it was swapped
into a 91 hb si, this guy sed when i go to get her smogged it will read as a del sol motor,thanks for the help.

 

As long as the block is stamped B16A2 or B16A3 and not just B16A, you'll have no problem.
