where is the water temp sensor and which wire is which??????

 

The water temp sensor should be directly below the distributor cap, closer to the front of the engine. It is a snap on/off plug that should come right off. Let me know if you find it.

 

there are 3 water temp sensors on the engine - 1 for the ECU which is below the distributor and has a 2 wire connector - 1 for the gauge which is right next to the one for the ECU and has a 1 wire connector - 1 for the radiator cooling fan which is on the back of the block next to the oil filter and has a 2 wire connector
