88,89,90-91 starters the same?

88,89,90-91 starters the same?
are there any real difference in those starters? cuz 88 and 89 are the oddballs for the trannys but are the starters any different? putting in my 90-91 ZC tranny w/LSD and wanting to know if my 88 starter will work. thanks guys!

I don't beleive there should be a difference - but I'm a 5th gen guy.
an easy way to find out though is to call you local shop, like advance auto and ask them to look up the started for a 88, and the starter for a 91, and compare the item #
