b series strutbars

Default b series strutbars

im wondering what strutbars you guys are using on your EF with a bseries motor. i have an ls motor and got a dx bar for my 91 dx but foudn that it wont clear the intake mani, so im wondering what anyone did. i have a gsr bar too but there are no holes to mount it, and am thinking maybe a 90-93 teg one will work?? any ideas?

I have no idea but I know that a 90-93 integra without abs strut bar is the same as the ef one.

anyone else? why wouldnt an abs one work though? i didnt know they made certain bars for abs and non abs cars

It's because the abs module gets in the way of the strut bar. It's not because the car had abs.

Exactly. Bars that will work for 90-93 tegs with ABS might work since they are "routed" somewhat differently to clear the ABS module. Sorry it's not much help, but I suppose it would depend on where your current bar is contacting the IM.

Being a former 92 Integra owner, I can tell you that finding a front strut bar for an ABS equipped G2 Integra is a bitch and a half. I got lucky and was able to fit a generic ebay bar with slight modification to the ABS plug bracket.

This means that there are probably knock-off bars out there that will work in a 4G/B series hybrid, just picking them out won't be easy.
