You can buy stud removers that will unscrew them supposing you have enough of the stud left. If not than you can buy bolt extractors, the Snap-On one works really well, they are actually the only company that I see making any that are worth a shit.

so the stud is just screwed down into the manifold? it's just the top that broke off so there is plenty left, just not enough for the nut to thread on. where would i find a stud remover, and do you know a price range? thanks.

It's easy to get them off without a stud puller, just get some vice grips, clamp it good, and break it loose, then it should unscrew very easy. You can find stud pullers at any store that carries tools and sockets. Im not sure which size that would be but I know it's smaller then a 5/16.

ok thanks. i'll try that or maybe notch the top with a dremel and unscrew it with a screwdriver if it is tight. would you happen to know the size of the stud so that i can buy one before taking my fuel rail off? thanks.

I've pulled a couple broken fuel rail studs with needle nose vice grips before. Easy.
