I'd keep it 8 or under.

There are two GS-R engines, the B17A1 (92-93) and B18C1 (94-01). The B17A1 head needs a supercharger made for a B16A, and the B18C1 head needs a supercharger made for a 94-01 GS-R.

6~8lbs, but I wouldn't do it. B20/vtec's have enough problems ontop of the B20's weak sauce sleeves and some poorly fueled, detonation ridden, high heat boost from S/C setup, in chassis that really can't fit a JRSC on the backside or a Vortec on the front of the engine w/ a swap anyways....

Well ...ppl don't recommend turboing a vtech motor but i also want something that will handle a lot of boost. Knowing that it wouldn't be my daily driver im trying to find a motor/head combo or juz straight up engine that would handle (for a lil while - acouple weekends) a good amount of boost. Lemme know what you think i should do

ok sorry VTEC! ne wayz i would do the engine swap first but i want it done in all one shot so that when i drove out i have the correct amount of psi runnin. So what a B18C1 would be a good bet then i guess?
