Default intrument panel light

hey has anyone ever read about changing the color of your instrument panel lighting, mainly speaking about the A/c and blower lights. im just looking for somethign different, i have reverse indiglow guages and i want ot make the lights a matching blue, instead of white. ive read about how to do it on integras with LEDS, but the lights that are in my panel arent leds i believe. jus twondering what kind of leds i should get and if i need resistors, or what.

Default Instrument panel

I have a question, how do you remove the instruent panel because I think I have faaulty wiring. They do not always come on and when they do, if I switch the direction say from my feet to the defrost, (you know the little butons) if I puysh them then the lights go out and I some times have to smack it just to get them to light up. Somebody please help me with this problem. All I need to knoe how to do it is remove the climate clontrol.

Supposed to. Honda dash lights have a nasty habit of cutting out, have you tried giving the dash a healthy wack with your fist? That's worked in a few cars I've been in.

im my 88 hatch its not realy little lights its just a back light that showns through and around all the switches.plus the little cold/hot knob lights up only on the indicator for the hot cold,at least thats how it is in my car.so i assume it would be exacetly the same in your 91 .
