What do you guys think? Is this stuff just junk or does it really work? I'm looking for BUDGET stuff for auto-x and if these were for real them I'm sold! I'm not looking for bling! bling!, but something that works. I could care less what it looks like.

You don't want cheapo suspension parts. Stick with names you know. Neuspeed, Spoon, Cusco, Ground Control, Eibach, H&R, Tokico, Bilstein and Koni are good equipment.
The phrase "you get what you pay for" holds very true in racing. Going cheap is risky.

kyb agx and ground control coilovers is a decent and affordable setup
energy suspension bushings and prothane rear trailing arm bushings are cheap and make the car handle like new
front and rear strut tower braces will also help ($100 for the pair cheapo parts)
after sorting out the suspension with the above changes then you can look into different rear & front sway bars, wheels and tires, camber, caster, toe, etc. to dial in the car to the driver

when changing suspension bushings to polyeurethane, which ones should be changed and which ones should be left rubber to avoid negative effects like binding?

If you can afford the complete kit, replace them all. The ride will be a little bumpier, but the car will be much tighter.
Don't buy cheap coilovers, because they are just that. Cheap.
