Interior is just about stripped now,I started removing the rust as well and now it looks like shiny bare metal.I found a couple treasures in the car 4 dead mice and a couple boxes of radon, lol.Im gonna wash out the whole bare interior this weekend.Anyone know how much a full crx interior weighs?I mean everything minus door panels,dash,1 seat.Thats all i got no carpet or other seat or anyting.Think i removed 150-200 pounds out?

If this is a throwaway car for you... then get some One-Step from Mar-Hyde to spray the rust before you do anything, it works alright for neutralizing rust...
I agree...my best combo is grind away the rust, fill any holes with fiberglass, sand, body fill, sand, bondo glazing putty, sand, prime, paint...DONT't RUSH...if you rush doing stuff like this (oh I'll just cover those little imperfections with paint...no you won't) it'll look like shit!

Good Luck

left overs, i was thining of having a custom exhaust done for me.My stock one has 300k on it!It rattles shakes and the cats gone too, sounds like bb's bouncing around.I also have this extra intake piping from a ex civic,If i turn it sideways and cut it , its perfect for the crx!

looks exactly like my project... mine is a 1988 HF also interior is stripped, currently sitting on jack stands with engine out, fenders off, hood off, hatch off, waiting for my seam weld, the seats are both out... and being sold to cover the cost of some cheap jegs lighweight seats....
