Default Thinking about putting a ZC in my 91 Civic Sedan!!

I have a 91 civic dx sedan. Can I use an auto EX transmission with the ZC.

I dont think you can unless you can find a tranny to match up with it. Why not a 5-speed?

ya, you'll need a different transmission as I recall. It's easiest to go for the 5 speed swap, and it'll be a lot easier to find people who have done it if you run into troubles.

Yes you can use the auto tranny. I used to know someone who had an EF sedan with a ZC.

Yes you can because the EX tranny is for the D-series and a ZC is a D-series so it will work and bolt right up.

I have an auto PG7 that you can use w/your auto tranny if you want it.

Good choice w/the ZC my friend!

yep i have to concur any d series will mate up to a zc, even an automatic, the bottom block of the zc is pretty much an si anyways so everything works quite well together
