my wipers go up, come back down, and then go back up about 1/4 of the way instead of staying down. has anyone else had this problem or know what the problem is? i'm going to mess with it some more. thanks.

 

Sounds like the motor is working a little too long. Check the relay. The wipers are controlled by a big mess of mechanical linkage that's hidden under that black plastic panel at the bottom of the windshield. It could also be a bad joint between one of those links. The linkages are in junk yards, as are the relays, most likely. No one ever takes stuff like that.

 

i've messed with the linkages...i had a bad joint that i replaced and it still has the same problem. i'm thinkin it might be where the linkage bolts to the motor (possibly in the wrong position when off).
