alrite i have an 88 crx hf and i just swapped in a dohc zc, and i noticed that i have TWO unconnected vacuum lines =\. when i had the hf motor, i had a friend put in an A6 and there was a loose vacuum hose, and i noticed that on the back of the si intake mani theres a place for one of the hoses right above the EACV, but thats not on the ZC intake.

ok so i have two hoses-one that goes frmo 2-1 and then just another stray one, that i dont knwo where they go to. and i know that when i had the si motor it idled really weird, 99% of the time i put the clutch in it would die, then the other 1% it woudl idle at liek 1100. any ideas on what to do with the lines?

 

First, we need to know where they are coming from and if there is anything missing a vac line. Do you have a digital camera?

yah u only use 2 of the vacume hoses on the zc the other 2 or 3 go to nothing, zc's dont have an egr valve or a few other vacume lines, just cut them off tape them shut and get them out of the way.
