I'm not sure exactly someone else may know for sure...but mine went from a 90 Si Hatch to a 90 STD Hatch...so one car with ALL the bells and whistles to a car with NO bells and whistles. So that went from the top of the line to the bottom of the line of its generation with no problem...
Basically...it would have a spot to slide in "3" harnesses...the cluster you want to use. One on either side near the top at a slight angle...and one round for the "speedo" cable.
I surmise that it would be possible as whenever I was looking for "reversible gauges" for the Si cluster they wer all advertised as "88-91 Civic CRX"...so one would guess that they would all be the same.
Can anyone else answer this question a little better?
Jason
