Default help with a 91 project

Hey guys! Im about to start on my first import project. I got a junker crx for 300 bucks and the body is being totally redone. It should look sweet when im done. But its an auto. I was planning on doin a built ZC/5speed. How hard is it for a swap from n auto to a 5 speed? Anyone have a ZC/5speed for sale?

Its not hard if you are already doing an engine swap. The only extra step would be add a clutch pedal, shifter and shift linkage.

lol it wasnt wrecked. It just looke like the guy took a big hammer to 80% of the body. Time for a wide body kit

well i got the front end off and am repairing/replacing the hood and fenders and now the big question.....buy the motor and tranny now and get it runnin with the jspec stuff or............... finish the body with the kit and wheels so i can drive it. Then buy the motor and tranny when i sell my other car....hmm...opinions?

you can drive it around when it looks good with a stock engine...just don't rice it out and try to drive fast

if you take your time to do the swap you will learn more and get it done right...that means baby steps...i've done several rush weekend swaps only to see that things were forgotten and used parts needed attention (such as new bearings etc.)

pass emissions first if you have to i'd avoid doing emissions with a zc
