Default which header is better?

Ok, I saw 2 kinds of headers, one is a 4-1 and the other is a 4-2-1. Which one is better?

ok dont quote me on this but i used to know it...it seems like the 4-2-1 is for more middle power band HP gains....not sacrificing your low end. but the 4-1 is for a better top end and more torque...that seems right but i really dont remember...i know its something like that though. someone help me out here...personally i am running a 4-1 on my b16 rex. also i believe 4-1 is a drag header while the 4-2-1 is a street...

I think he was right. Get a 2 piece header also, 1 piece would be a bitch to install.

what do u fellas recommend on a stock motor? And are those headers on e-bay any good? or do you recommend a certain brand. I don't want to pay more than $200, maybe $250 cuz I'm cheap like that h: ... So DC is def. out of the question.

The gains from an ebay header vs a DC header would probably be comparable given our small engines. I'd be worried about the quality though. And you can get a Kamikaze header for around $250.
