Default Replacement Remote / Electronic Key

I recently purchased a 2000 TL, I bought it from a used car dealership. They only gave me one set of key/remote. I need to get a copy for both. I've been searching the web for remotes, and found factory remotes for sale from www.keylessride.com for $62(shipping incl), would this be a fair price and also would this work? I'm unsure on how to deal with the key replacement. I actually had a integra 96 key copied from one of these hardware stores around my area, and it worked. I was wondering if the same would be true for the TL key, I'm assuming no since this is an electronic key? Can anyone offer some help/advice on my situation.

Thanks in advance,

Have you chekced how much your local dealer will charge first? I believe there is a chip in the stock key so you can't really just have a blank made.

I had the same problem when I bought my TL. The remote transmitter you can get off of eBay for $10-$15 bucks. Check the FCC ID on the back of your existing transmitter and make sure they match. The key is a different story. I finally broke down and went to the local dealer and had them cut a new master and valet key for me. The keys were only $21 each, but the labor ran $75 and it took almost an hour to boot.
