Default Might get a Vigor :D

I found a 93 Vigor 5 speed manual that had a JDM vigor engine put into it. The engine has 50,000 on it. The price: 5 grand. The car is in excellent condition.

My questions I need to ask are:

Are there any problems I should know about with the Vigor?
How many HP is the JDM Vigor engine?
Will the Vigor be expected to be a reliable car for years to come? [yes, even though it IS an Acura]

I have a 93 Vigor GS. I saw it at an auction about 6 years ago and had to have it. I checked the history via the VIN # and found some trans work done at a dealer in NJ. It still doesn't lock and drops heavy--sounds like a weight dropping into a bucket. (AT trans)

I have 150K mi. Over the past 6 years, I changed the belts, replaced radiator, cv boot, LFT control arm, ABS wheel sensor, and got a tune up. She's purring like a kitten.

At 176hp, 170lb-ft, it's more luxury than speed but the fact that acura took a 10 speed racing car and cut in half and put it in the Vigor it's not bad getting out of the box. It's a 2.5L, inline-5 and they (service men at the Acura dealer) say it'll last a long time. As for the JDM, i'm not sure. Check out the forums below for + info.

My buddy has a 92 with 234K miles and squares he'll keep it 4ever! Good Luck.
