I was driving my wifes 05 TL auto a few days ago in manual mode.Now I drive it alot but, this was the 1st time I drove it in stick mode. I reved 1, 2 & 3rd redline & hit 100 which I don't do on the street anymore like my young days. After 3rd the check engine light came on kept flashing a few times then dissappeared. After that I just put it back in auto mode & chilled out. Haven't come back on.

I was just wondering is that usally norm for the TLs because anytime I ever drove my GSR & redline all 4 gears I never had a check engine light on. Just wanted to see whats up. BTW we have 75K .

sometimes a vehicle's computer will remember your driving styles and when that common ground is broken maybe it freaked out a little? I'd take it to a honda dealer and let someone on their payroll try to fix it.
