Yea I plan on keeping it till it dies [I hope that doesn't happen for a long time]. What do you mean by CARB; I am relativly new to moding an engine. I had a 1989 Legend and I couldn't find any thing that fit that car. It has 200,000 miles on it, I hope to get that out of my TL. Oh how much of a diff does that Icebox make and how many hp do you think your pushing now with all those mods you did?

You might want to check your State law regarding modification to your engine and smog referee procedures. In California, if you modify your vehicle (engine), it has to be CARB to make it smog legal.

I don't want to guess how much power my car is pushing and it is plenty fast enough for me. You might want to start off with an intake (icebox) first. If you think you need more punch, then do the headers and exhaust.

My first Mod was an intake, then I lowered it right away. This happened within the first few weeks I got the car. Then came exhaust, then rims/tires, then headers, then sway bars.

Whatever you do, just make sure you or the person who is performing the work know what they are doing. You don't want to have someone mess up your car and have to bring it back to the dealership.

I think the ice box will be the fist engine mod I do then. How hard was it to put in? The comptech site doesn't say how to do it.

If you had installed an intake before, you can do this no problem. It is pretty basic and it comes with pretty good instructions.
