under the glove compartment, there is a few connectors... should be 2 blue ones and an orange one... the 2 blue ones are both plugged into a holder. You want the blue plug with 2 wires... just jumper the 2 wires with the car running.

good luck... hope its nothing serious. If it turns out to be anything with the EGR valve, call an Acura dealer to see if your car is covered under the factory recall. You just give them your VIN number, and they will be able to tell you if your car qualifies. A lot of 97 3.0's had trouble with the EGR valve... My CL had it cleaned once, and is now due to have it replaced.
This is a common source for a CEL on the CL... and Acura covered most of them on cars up to 100,000 miles.

Update. I found the connector, thank you all responders and niedejb, very nice documentation on that turbo job. I had cleared the engine light with battery cable remove. Also, I replaced air filter and tightened mounting screws on MAS. Then I had an opportunity to run the car at triple digits for a few minutes a few times. 300+ miles later, the engine light is still out. Prior to above it stayed out less than 200 miles, then came back. We'll see, Thanks again.

It's back. I looked under the dash, found blue connectors. I would appreciate some clarification before "shorting stuff" out. I don't want to toast anything. Are the wires to be "shorted" the only 2 wires in the connector? Is this connector open without anything plugged into it?
