My daughter has a '99 Cl and occassionaly cannot get it started. She often runs it with little or no gas in it and I have suspected this is the cause most of the time. However, she has also had problems when there has been gas, most recently a half a tank. About an hour later she put an additional gallon in and it started right up. Anybody have any idea what this could be?

 

its kind of funny you say that because I was going up a hill the other day on "E" and my CL shut off (it ran out of gas)...no sput or anything just turned right off. I found out that day that my car does not have a "gas light" and if it did it has went out or something. Anyways I suppose these CLs have a problem with registering how much gas is in the tank so i would get that checked out by a stealership near you. I plan on looking into my gas light issue myself before i go to a stealership.
