I have a 99' 2.3CL and the engine light is on and the code is p1382 and i am pretty sure it has something to do with either the distributor or the cam position sensor. I need some help trying to figure out what is wrong. I do not like to take my car to the dealer because they are to expensive. I have the tools to fix the problem my self but I would like to try to narrow it down before i start buying and replaceing expensive parts that may not be the issue. If anyone could help with like a step by step trouble shooting procedure for this problem or any past experiences i would greatly appriciate it.
