Default with my hands up

Hi there ! I recently bought 2.2 cl 1997 and after a day. The check engine light popped up, a double check, first on the code reader and then on the code scanner , both showed code 301 which means #1 cylindr misfiring. Ever since then i've been told to change the distributor cap and the rotor, wires, none from the above helped. i've also swapped the spark plugs and the injectors just to see whether the it was the problem but it's not The car runs like crap, when you drive for example in the 50 km zone and just have to push and hold the accel. pedal a bit to keep the speed limit the car shakes and you can feel by the sound and the by the way it works that one cylindr doesn't work light start's to flash. DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO?
EGR WALVE?
FRONT REAR O2 SENSORS?
BADLY INSTALLED TIMING BELT?
COIL?

First thing to do is determine whether the problem really is related to the number one cylinder and only the number one cylinder. If you remove the number one plug wire, does the idle change at all? If it does NOT change, then the problem is definitely associated with the number one cylinder (injector? valve?).

If the engine idle gets noticeably worse when you pull the number one plug, put the wire back and try the others one at a time. That'll pinpoint the cylinder that isn't firing.

If ALL of the cylinders cause the engine to worsen when you pull their plug wires, then the problem is NOT associated with a particular cylinder. Then it would make sense to check the coil (easy to check, anyway), the timing belt, the O2 sensors, etc.
