Default Looking to buy 02 TL S - Questions

I am looking to buy an 02 TL Type S with 97K.........what are some things/issues that I should keep my eyes open for? I am aware of potential tranny problems on the G2 TL's, but is there anything that would tip me off to this (outside of ugly colored tranny fluid)? What is Acura doing about it? Given that this car has 97K, I am under the impression that I am covered for only another 3K (assuming it has not been done yet; haven't gotten verification as of yet). Is this warranty ever extended? Are there any other model specific quirks to keep my eyes open for? Given the mileage, there are some obvious maintenence things to look for (i.e. timing belt, water pump, brakes, tires, belts, etc.)............anything else?

Any insight into this particular model would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Timing belt is right around the corner. Have you inspected the car yourself to see what condition is it in? You can read the sticky threads regarding the tranny issues.

I am going to look at the car this weekend. I was just curious if there was anything to pay special attention to. I will do my homework on the tranny issues, as that seems pretty well documented. Anything else?

Thanks.
