Default Seat Belt Beeper

Since I just purchased my TL I noticed that it always wants you to put your seatbelt on. Me and the wife were shopping the other day and I can't go too far without the seatbelt warning going off and we are just going right across the street. I know to wear my seatbelt that is just fact. I wondered if there was a way to turn this buzzer off?

TIA

never mind I have done some research and there is no real way to disable the buzzer I will just have to live with the beep on short trips which is not too big of a deal. Sorry to waste a topic.

Why not just put the seatbelt on? It only takes like a coulpe of seconds and it could save your life, even at low speed impact.
