help with flasher ticking sound
Hi guys,
I just bought a 93 vigor. front bumper is damaged with no in bumper flashers.
I just bought a set of used flashers. Wired them in and when i started to test them, I noticed the previous owner had installed/hot wired flasher buttons for left and right turns. It appears that he hot wired the car so doesnt have to replace the flashers in front of the car.
I removed the hot wiring and sealed the gaps.
Flashers are working correctly. But, I have this loud ticking sound when the flashers are not in use. It is the same sound you hear whn you use your signal light only faster.
edited: i only see 1 bulb for each flasher. but, are they supposed to be lit when i turn on park light?
Any help would be great!

My flashers haven't been "jimmy-rigged" but I am having the same clicking sound. My mechanic says it may be the turn signal switch on the steering column. Unfortunately, I haven't replaced the switch or investigated any further to confirm if true
