Default TSB question

I am about to purchase a 2001 Acura CL-S and decided to check it out on the web first and came across this website, very good info here!
I'd never even heard of a TSB before I started reading this forum.

But on to the question......

If my car has an issue that is covered in a TSB, does the dealer fix it for free even if the car is out of warranty? It would seem like they should since it is a know issue and all.

If this has been answered already please point me to that post, I searched but couldn't find anything.

If it's within the mileage stated in the TSB, then yes. It's just getting the dealer to admit it's covered under the TSB.

Is there anyway for me to find out the mileage that is listed in the TSB?
I have the full list of TSB's for the CL, got them off of edmunds, but none of them list a mileage.
Also checked nhtsa, but no mileage listed there either.

Just trying to figure out whether an extended warrenty would be worth the money, the car's still below 100k, so I should be covered on the tranny.

Any advice on whether to get an extend warrenty or not?

get the extended warranty. It will likely pay for itself.
