1999 TL engine miss

1999 TL engine miss
I have a TL with 82,000 miles. The engine just started to miss, mostly on deceleration. The only thing that I did differently is add STP fuel injector cleaner. The engine check light came on and I checked and tightened the gas cap. Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks

Go and get the code for the check engine light. I think Autozone or Pep Boys will do it for you for free.
