Anyone else with an Acura CL (3.0 V6) ever had the opportunity to max it out & see how fast it would go?

 

i've got a '99 3.0 and the fastest i've gotten to is about 120. that was with the pedal floored coming from a cruising speed in 4th into OD over a stretch of about 3 miles of highway...seemed like the car didn't want to go any faster...dunno if that was the governor or what. sucks, cuz i pulled 137 in my '96 GSR (RIP) over about the same distance on I-95. i figured the CL might pull past that with the bigger engine...but the integra had some basic motor work done to it so that might've made some difference...
