Anybody install Dc Sprts headers on ther 1999-03 Tl. I just odered some headers and was wondering was the install was like. I've heard other forums saying things a about a vibration or air leak.

All the headers are installed the same way. DC is a pretty well-known aftermarket performance market supplier for Honda/Acura. But if you've never installed headers before, I would pay a well trusted mechanic an hour or two to install it for you.

I think me and my cousin will do the install since it shouldn't be to bad.

2 things you need to be careful of is the O2 sensor(s). Sometimes it/they can be tough to get out. And the header studs - be careful when removing and installing the nuts, because you don't want to break these guys off in the block.

We put those in my friends TL-p a couple of months ago. The stock headers came off no problem. The problem that we ran into was putting in the rear header. It wouldnt fit on because the DC extends out a little further than the stock, so what we had to do was unbolt the engine/transmission mount and jack up the bottom of the engine to give us a little more clearance to fit the rear header on the studs. I would also recommend having a good variety of extensions for your ratchet. Other than that it took us about 5-6 hours. Most of the time we were just trying to figure out how to get the rear on.
