Hi all, I am new to the forum. I just purchased an 03 CL type-s auto. I am having an issue with the interior lights. The passenger door light stays on when the door is closed. The light does get dimmer when the door switch is activated but does not go out. The interior dome light stays on all of the time when switched to the center positon to operate on the door switches. I have swapped out the driver side door switch for the passenger switch and the door switch checks out. Does anyone know what would cause the dome light to stay on and the passenger door light to dim when the door is closed but not go out all of the way. Obviously if the car is parked for a long time it drains the battery.

I'd imagine it's a bad ground or something of the like if you already replaced the switch.

If you have less than 48,000 miles, the car is still covered under warranty through Acura, so check it out.
