Timing Belt Tensioner
Does the timing belt ever have to be tensioned?
I see that the tensioner ("automatic") is hydraulic, but it acts on a idler pulley that seems to have a locknut, indicating that it would benefit from periodic loosening/tightening so that the tensioner could take up the slack! No mention in the service schedule...
Reference parts 6 & 7 and assembly #10.
Thanks!
