Default 2006 TL transmission issues fixed?

does anyone know if Acura has fixed their known transmission issues over the last few years 99/00/01 in the 05 and 06 TLs?

I haven't heard of any issues with the 05 and up TL trannies.

Have not noticed anything peculiar with ours, an '05. But it only has 7.5K on it. Smooth transmission.

However, I have fournd something a little strange with the design. The tranny does not have a filter nor does it have a drain on the torque converter. This may be typical with the newer cars these days. Can't speak about a tranny cooler yet.

I haven't heard of any issues, the transmission was updated heavily for the '04 model year.

We are very happy with the car. Ha, I wish it had the speed my Porsche has yet retained the gas mileage it gets now.
