i have 02 acura tl, i bought a brand new remote from dealer, after they programmed the remote, everything works fine accept for the lock button, it doesn't lock when i press it. the unlock, trunk and panic button works fine. when i lock the car with the key, the security light doesn't blink. please help me solve this problem, thanks

 

If you bought it from the dealer, why not take it back and let them figure it out for you?

You said you bought the remote from the dealer in your original post. It is probably a defect in the remote because it does everything else except arming. What about your other remote, does it arm?

 

none of the remote can arm the system, it's not the remote problem. do you know where is the alarm system locate in my car? that way i can figure out myself, thanks
