If the fuse blew and you put in a larger one and the door caught on fire, you have problems that a new fuse is not going to fix. The blown fuse is merely a symptom of a greater disease.

Which fuse was it? I am betting some wires are shorting out and by putting in a larger amperage fuse in, you allow more currect to go through and thus, caused a fire.

Ya, just rewire it. The first fuse blew because of a short so there must a short somewhere. Did you have speakers put in recently?
