Default I think I want a 2004+ TL, but only 20k miles on the tires?

I think that this is the car that I want... a 2004 or newer TL (s-type probably).

But a friend of mine says that I can only get 20,000 miles on the low-profile wheels that are on this car?

I drive around 60k miles a year - so I need 60-80k tires.

Do I have any options?

Can I put Accord wheels on this car?

Anything else? Help!

Thanks.

You can pick and choose whichever tires you want. High performance tires = short lift span. Just get some regular all season tires and you should be fine.

04 and up TL does not have the type-S model... just auto or manual and whatever options you want to add.

04+ TL has the "Sport" option which includes, among other things, the upgraded Brembo brakes. Even though it is not officially named a Type-S, it is commonly referred to as such based on Acura's previous sport model naming trend.

You can get the 6speed without the sport option, however.

Uh, if we need to answer this question, then perhaps you shouldn't get a TL and get an accord :-)
