TL Premium bose system
otay, so the car has a premium sound system by bose with a built in mid-sub in the back dash. on previous cars with the oem radio, i was able to attatch a converter to the back speakers to plug into my amp for a sub. some one told me that you can't do it with the bose systems. IS THAT TRUE?
. if so, is there a different way to plug in a subwoofer system to the bose system??

You will need to get a hi-low converter to convert the signal to RCA plugs and then plug that into your new amplifier which will power your new subwoofer.

that's exactly what i was thinking, that's what i usually do but some electronic places like Circuit city, Best buy, and car toys said that it cannot be done because of bose system. I'm gonna try it anyways, trial and error right?
It will work because I did mine about 6 years ago with no problems. Good luck.

You can tap to the stock amplifier wire behind the back seat. I forgot what color it was but there is a turn-on wire so your amplifier will only turn on when you turn the radio on.

Yes, once you remove the rear back seat, you will see it.

How do you get the back seat out without wrecking the leather? And let me run this at you please.
I posted a question about a dead rear door speaker, which did not die a sudden death, but showed early signs by not un-muting after the NAV girl was finished with "telling me where to go" -- she does this constantly but I love her anyway == , then it would fix itself like magic at random, then go out again, hasnt returned for a long time now so I just fade to the front.. sub still works.
everything is stock... Any ideas???
Thanks......
