Default acura tl drop

If i was to lower my 99 TL will that effect the ride's smoothness? would you recommend using coilovers or just using springs and still keep the smooth ride. And, what brand would you recommend, i was lookin at either Tien or Eibach. I don't really want to lower the car if it takes the smooth ride away, i just want it to look sleeker and hug better.

yes, it's possible. the tiens would prob be your best bet because you can adjust them to your liking for height and stiffness. the spring rates arent that aggressive at all, so you can def make it very close to stock. anther suggestion would be to go with eibach/comptech springs and tokico shocks which are adjustable. the most flexible way to go would be teins if you have the money. goodluck!

Hey thankx alot brado i'm gonna give it a try. so it'll be the Teins coilover suspensions right? not just the springs? What would happen if you got springs only (either eibach or teins) on stock shocks?

No matter which springs you get, the ride will be stiffer. I personally have the Comptech springs and I love the stiffer ride on stock shocks.
