Default 2000 Acura TL issues

I just bought a 2000 TL with Navi and love the car, but the passenger side heated seat is not working. I checked the fuse and its fine. Anyone have any ideas before I bring it into the dealership?

Also, I am getting a steady low level hum out of the sub in the rear deck. Only when the stereo is on and it does not vary with engine speed. Any ideas?

Also, it just turned 60K and I was going to have the 60k service done, but it seems like beyond inspecting a bunch of stuff (which they pretty much do anyways when they change the oil) it seems like I'd be paying $200 to have the transmission fluid changed. Is this right? Would I be better off just having a mechanic change the tranny fluid and call it a day? Thanks.

Brett

It could be a lot of different things as far as the heated seat goes. Could be a bad switch, disconnected wire and/or bad unit.

If you hear a low hum that is steady, then it is caused by interference. Did the previous owner did any modifications to it? You might want to look around or take out the rear seat to see if the stock amplifier wirings are all spliced up or not.

Well I will probably take it into the dealership this weekend and see if they can look at it the seat.

The previous owner was probably in his 60's and leased the car so I seriously doubt it was ever modded. Where is the amp located in the car?

Thanks for the help.
