OBD reader that can reset Airbag Warning?
My 2000 Acura TL has the SRS Airbag light (red) illuminated. From other threads in this group, I suspect it is because I was using my laptop on the passenger seat (numerous posters have mentioned EMI/RFI problems that can trigger this light)
Question is this. Of the OBD readers on the market, does anyone know of one that can CLEAR values, especially the SRS code? Or, do all of them only read and report values?
I can take it into the dealer and have them reset it, but the nearest dealer is some distance away and my job doesn't really allow me time to drop my car.
Plan is to reset the code, and then if it reappears (i.e., it is something actually wrong) then I will deal with the hassle of taking it to the dealer for servicing
Thanks,
Bruce

I have a 1998 honda accord coupe 6cyl similar to the acura 2000 tl could be the same engine. My red SRS AIRBAG light came on and doesnt go off until I shut the engine. Did you fix your problem? Any advice? Also have a 2003 Accord 6cyl Coupe with idiot lights always coming on now we have maintenance required light how do you turn it off? I know it is unrealated but I want to know if you got access to an obd code reader and did it clear the light? Neil.
