Default Tranmission Issue?

I have a 2003 TL-S. It has 18K miles on it. When at lights/stop signs(engine idling), I notice the car jerks forward a little forward ..... the same effect when you put the car into drive.

Is this normal. Is this a side-effect of the tranmission issue? Is my tranny going bad?

TIA,
mcdrew

I don't believe that is a sign of your tranny going out. Were you using your A/C when this happened? Does it happen all the time or just intermittenly?

Default Happens intermittently

It happens intermittently with and without A/C running. Any clues?

TIA,

How far does it jerk forward? Your car actually moved or was it a nudge that you could feel from the brake pedal?

Default It feels like a nudge...

It does not move forward just a nudge. The same symptom when you shift into D5 from N or P.

I don't think there's anything wrong with your car.
