Default Totalled my 03 TL-S

I wrecked my TL-S last month going to work and for the longest time I was told they are going to consider it a total loss. I really loved this car it was a really nice ride. Anyway I have the chance to by it back for about $5500. It only had 15,372 miles on it and was hit in the front. The entire car from the front doors back are in perfect condition. It has a mint interior with navi. It has the comtech lowering springs as well. The air bags deployed. The trans and motor was pushed back 3". A mounting ear broke off the trans. I dont know if the motor has any problems but it still runs. I only ran it for about 10 seconds since it doesnt coolant. My question is this car worth buying to part out? I want to buy another 03 TL-S but considering an 04 A-spec. I would like to know any comments, I dont want to buy this and lose anymore money than I have already.

Honestly, the TL's are still so new that parting them out won't be worthwhile.

IMO, I don't think it is even worth your time to do it.

I was only wondering if it was worth it or not at least now I am sure its not. It was amazing I walked away from it, someone cut me off and ran me into a stopped semi on the side of the road doing about 50mph. I had my seatbelt on and walked away. I even went to work that day after and never had any injuries. I consider myself very lucky to have been driven that car.
