Corvette ZR1 Laps Nurburgring in 7 min 26
Corvette ZR1 has set a time of 7 minutes 26.4 seconds around the Nurburgring, a new lap record for production cars. More importantly it beat the Nissan GT-R in the process!

This is great, right up until the point where the GT-R V-Spec beats it, the LF-A destroys it, and the the C7 Z06 fails to live up to it.
