Default 2009 TSX spy shots and rumors.

Autoblog has some spy shots of the 2009 TSX.

Their speculation is that the S-type model will include the 2.3l turbo from the RDX which should be good for 240-260 hp.

it kinda has an 06-08 civic front end look on it. It would be cool if they put the RDX motor in there. but for some reason i dont think they will.

as an Acura tech, I can actually say that we see very few RDX's for anything engine related. There are certain things we see them for alot, but nothing with the drivetrain.

They had various problems during development making the engine reliable...it was shelved for a few months as Honda didn't believe they could get the engine to pass 1000hr durability tests, but they eventually figured it out.

For comparison, Chrysler only requires their turbo engines to pass 400hr durability tests.

I hope it is going to look like that sports 4 concept a few years ago, that car was just about perfect. Most seem to say it will get the turbo I4 from the RDX tuned a little higher or even a small v6, it needs more power and I doubt they can get it to compete with the competition with a NA four cylinder. SH-AWD would be interesting but would add alot of cost and weight to the car. There are also rumors a sports coupe will be based off the TSX.
