hopefully gettin a 91 crx and want to run 2 Audiobahn Alum 10" subs that run at 800watts RMS a piece, what amp should i get for maximum performance at minimal costs???

What's the voice coil configuration on those Alum's???

I'd say the absolute cheapest, yet still a strong amp, you could go with would be a JBL BP1200, which is ~$250 new.

 

how powerful of an amp should i run to them? full 1600 rms that it can handle or lower? my friend was runnin a 600w (i think peak) kenwood to his one alum 10"

 

There aren't that many 1600 watt subs amps. I know Audiobahn make ones.

How does your friend's sub sound??

If it kicks hard, then a 1100-1200 watts class d amp should be fine and not too expensive. Like I mentioned above, a JBL BP1200 is an option as well as a DEI 1100d and Memphis ST1000d. I believe Memphis has a 1500 watt amp as well.

 

his hits hard as hell.....he just added a JBL 12", the kenwood sez 600 on it so im guessing its 600 peak, and hes runnin a 700 boss amp hes borrowing from someone, but he says their bridged, i dont kno much about electronics so i dont know how much hes runnin to each
